Former Resident Dies In Illinois

W. J. ATWOOD (sic - W. T. ATWOOD), 80, former resident of Birmingham and Fairfield, passed away at 8:15 this morning in the home of his daughter, Alice ATWOOD in Elmhurst, Illinois. Mr. ATWOOD had been in poor health for several weeks and had been seriously ill for the past four weeks.

He was preceded in death by his wife five years ago and since that time had made his home with his daughter in Illinois.

He is survived by three sons, Irwin of Packwood, Harold of Glasgow and Wilson of Birmingham. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.

He was a member of the Birmingham Presbyterian church where the funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 1:30. The body is being taken today to the Catcott funeral home in Birmingham.
