WM. ANDREWS DIES FOLLOWING WRECK ON 63
Kansas City Man and His Family Were Returning From Fairfield, Ia.

William A. ANDREWS, 30 years old, died at the People's Hospital here yesterday afternoon at 2:20 following a car wreck on Highway 63, near the Kelsey Orchards, at noon.

Mr. ANDREWS, his wife and three-year-old son, were returning to their home in Kansas City from Fairfield, Ia., where they visited Mrs. ANDREW's parents, Mr. and Mrs. B. C. LOWDEN (sic - LOUDEN).

The exact cause of the accident is not known but it is thought that the front wheel of the Dodge Coupe in which the family was riding was broken when it fell off the concrete slab into the ditch that parallels the improved roadway, throwing the car sharply to the left and causing it to turn over three different times.

Mr. ANDREWS was badly injured but was able to walk to a passing car, which picked him up and walked from the car into the hospital when it reached Macon. It was found however that a number of his ribs were broken and it is thought that one rib punctured his lung, causing his death.

Mrs. ANDREWS and little child were badly shaken up but were not seriously hurt.

The body will be sent to Fairfield, Iowa, for burial.
