Mrs. ANDERSON Dies Suddenly

Death came suddenly this morning to Mrs. Abner ANDERSON, lifetime resident of Jefferson county.

She passed away at 5:45 this morning at the Jefferson county hospital where she had been taken during the night.

Mrs. ANDERSON had been in failing health for some time but had been in her usual health yesterday. She became ill in the night, summoned a doctor and he sent her to the hospital. She died a short time later.

Last rites will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Raymond funeral home with the Rev. J. Roland Crandall officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Mrs. Abner L. ANDERSON, 72, was born Aug, 5, 1891, in Jefferson county, the daughter of Gilbert and Emma LINKINS McFARLAND. She was reared and educated in Jefferson county and spent her entire life in this community.

She was united in marriage on June 29, 1922 in Fairfield to Abner L. ANDERSON. He preceded her in death on Nov. 30, 1947. Her husband was a long-time member of the fire department.

Mrs. ANDERSON is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

All Rebekahs are requested to attend the funeral in a group.

Jefferson County ss.

To All Whom It May Concern:

You Are Hereby Notified That an instrument of writing purported to be the last Will and Testament of Lizzie ANDERSON, deceased, dated November 24, 1962 having been this day filed, opened and read, Friday the 19th day of June, 1964, is fixed for hearing proof of same at the Court House in Fairfield, Iowa, before the District Court of said County, or the Clerk of said Court; and at 9:30 o'clock a.m. of the day above mentioned all persons interested are hereby notified and required to appear, and show cause if any they have, why said instrument should not be probated and allowed as and for the last Will and Testament of said deceased.
