Services pending for Dale ANDERSON

Dale F. ANDERSON, 88, former longtime insurance agent in Fairfield, died at 6 a.m. today at the Parkview Care Center.

Services are pending at the Behner Funeral Home. His former address was 602 W. Adams.

Dale ANDERSON rites today

Services for Dale F. ANDERSON, 89, former longtime insurance agent, were held this morning at 10 a.m. at the Behner Funeral Home.

The Rev. Keith Lingwall officiated and burial was in Evergreen Cemetery where military rites were conducted. Memorials may be made to the First Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society.

ANDERSON died at 6 a.m. Saturday at the Parkview Care Center.

Dale F. ANDERSON was born Sept. 18, 1894, in Jefferson County. He was the son of Gustaf Peter and Emma Caroline ANDERSON. His marriage to Lucile LAMBERSON took place in 1920 at Fairfield. She died July 17, 1959. His marriage to Mildred PARSONS tool place June 6, 1960, in the Little Brown Church (note: in Nashua, IA). She survives.

Other survivors include two stepdaughters, Patricia MORRISON, Fairfield, and Wilhemina NELSON, Fairfield; a step-son, Keith BARNETT, Oregon, Ill.; 10 step-grandchildren, seven step-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Edith M. GIRE' of Fairfield.

ANDERSON was preceded in death by three brothers.

He was a lifetime resident of Jefferson County, a member of the First Lutheran Church, Eagles Lodge (sic - Aerie or Club) and a charter member of the American Legion. He had been in the insurance business for 35 years.
