MRS. J. ADLER PASSES AWAY
Services Sunday afternoon for long time resident of this city

Mrs. John ADLER, 67, resident of Fairfield for the past 26 years, passed away at the Jefferson county hospital at 2:15 o'clock Thursday afternoon. Mrs. ADLER had been in poor health for the past six years, and suffered a broken hip about five weeks ago, at which time she was taken to the Jefferson county hospital.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the Hoskins Funeral Home, in charge of Rev. E. A. Piper. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Mrs. Laura Bell SHEPHERD ADLER was born February 10, 1874, in Kentucky. She is survived by her husband, John ADLER; seven children, William ADLER of Council Bluffs, Ralph, Frank, Ed, Merl and Mrs. Gladys STONE, all of Fairfield, and Mrs. Grace CALHOUN of Burlington; one sister, Mrs. L. HAIFLEY of Brighton; two brothers, Lloyd SHEPHERD of Des Moines and E. SHEPHERD of Brighton; and 15 grandchildren. Two sons and two daughters preceded her in death.
