Mrs. Jule KELLER, 72, lifetime resident of Jefferson county, passed away at her farm home nine miles southeast of Fairfield late yesterday afternoon. Her death came after a serious illness of two months following a stroke.
Last rites will be held at the Weston Behner funeral home Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. S. P. Williamson in charge. Burial will be in the Wright cemetery.
Mrs. KELLER was born March 14, 1875, in Jefferson county, the daughter of the late James and Lizzie LIBLIN. She was united in marriage May 3, 1899, to Jule KELLER. She had lived on the same farm for the last 48 years.
Mrs. KELLER is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Macel BRERETON, Fairfield; ad five sons: Marshall, Keosauqua; Ralph, Ottumwa; James, Lockridge; Earl, Pulaski; and Russell, Fairfield. She is also survived by two sisters, Mary and Lizza PARSONS, Fairfield; four brothers, L. J. LIBLIN, Richland; Frank LIBLIN, Peoria, Illinois; Joe LIBLIN, Lockridge; and John LIBLIN, Fairfield; and 15 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother and a sister.
