Funeral For Aged Resident To Be Held On Tuesday Near HereSTOCKPORT, Feb. 3 -- Gustavus KELLER, 85, died yesterday at 5:22 p.m. at the home of his daughter Mrs. Lawrence SILVER, here. Mr. KELLER, who was born May 14, 1850 in Jefferson county, had been seriously ill for three weeks. His wife preceded him in death on June 16, 1934.
He is survived by the following children, Mrs. Anne REED of Fairfield, Mrs. Minnie RUBEY of Mt. Zion, Mrs. Cora SILVERS at whose home he died, Frank, Jude and John KELLER all of Fairfield, Gus of Saskatchewan, Canada and Lou of Dundee, Mich.
The funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Stockport Methodist church. The burial will be in Wright cemetery. The H. P. Campbell funeral directors of Fairfield will be in charge.

GUSTAVUS KELLER
Gustavus KELLER, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gustavus KELLER, was born in Cedar township, Jefferson county, Iowa, May 14, 1850, and passed away Feb. 2, 1936, at the home of his daughter Mrs. Cora SILVERS of Stockport at the age of 85 years, 8 months and 18 days.
On Feb. 18, 1873, he was united in marriage to Catherine Mahy (sic - Cathrine Mary) ORIEZ of Jefferson county, Ia. They celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary on February 18, 1934.
His companion of so many years departed this life, June 16, 1934. Since that time his health has gradually declined.
Ten children were born to this union, two of them, Millie and Roy preceding him in death. He leaves to mourn his passing, eight children, 27 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. The children are: Mrs. Anna REED of Fairfield, Mrs. Minnie RUBEY of Mt. Union, Mrs. Cora SILVER of Stockport, Frank, Jule and John of Fairfield, Gus of Saskatchewan, Canada, and Lue of Dundee, Mich. He was the last remaining member of his family, all of his brothers and sisters having preceded him in death.
Although his health had been failing for a number of years, he was bedfast for only about three weeks. He was very patient throughout his lingering illness and always met everyone with a smile.
