DEATH CLAIMS H. W. GIBERSON

H. W. "Pete" GIBERSON, life-time resident of Jefferson county, passed away yesterday afternoon at the Veterans hospital in Iowa City (note: in Johnson Co., IA) where he had been a patient for the past 13 days. His death came at 3 p.m.

Last rites will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner funeral home with the Rev. G. J. Dingman in charge. Burial will be at Wright cemetery southeast of Fairfield.

H. W. GIBERSON, 62, was born Sept. 29, 1890, in Jefferson county, the son of the late William H. and Mary Ann PATTERSON GIBERSON. He was united in marriage to Ruby MARTIN on April 9, 1921, in Fairfield.

GIBERSON, whose home is at 614 W. Monroe street, was a veteran of World War I and a member of D.A.V. chapter No. 52, Fairfield.

Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Diane; two foster children, Mrs. Florence SELIX, Pasco, Wash., and James WIREMAN, Bartlesville, Okla. He is also survived by three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Ida BRERETON, Fairfield, Mrs. Gertrude TEETER, Bentonsport; and two brothers, Sam GIBERSON, Richmond, Calif., and Charles GIBERSON, New Mexico.
