LOCAL MISCELLANY.

… Elizabeth, wife of Caleb GIBERSON, died at her home twelve miles southeast of this city Sunday morning, after a protracted illness from cancer of the liver. He (sic - her) age was seventy-one years, and she had been a resident of Jefferson county for many years. The remains were interred Monday in the Spencer cemetery in Van Buren county, Rev. G. B. Phillips conducting the funeral services.

… Mrs. Elizabeth GIBERSON died last Sunday morning at half past eleven at her home eight miles southeast of this city. She had been in poor health for some time, the cause of her death being cancer of the liver. The funeral took place from the residence Monday morning at ten o'clock and the interment was made in the Spencer cemetery in Van Buren county.
