R. E. CAVINESS DIED AT PLEASANT PLAIN LAST NIGHT.

R. E. CAVINESS, an aged resident of Jefferson county, died last night at his home in Pleasant Plain after an illness of over a year. He is survived by a wife and several children. He was 79 years of age the 7th day of August.

The funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock and the remains will be interred in the cemetery nearby (note: in Walnut Creek Friends Cemetery).
