DEATH TAKES MRS. CAVINESS
Pioneer Resident of Jefferson County Died In Cedar Rapids

Mrs. S. T. CAVINESS, well known pioneer resident of Jefferson county, passed away in the hospital at Cedar Rapids (note: in Linn Co., IA) at noon yesterday, the result of injuries received in an auto accident ten days ago, when her sister, Mrs. Elmira STEELE, of Riverside, was killed.

The body will be brought to Richwoods where funeral services will be held at the grave in Richwoods cemetery at 2:00 o'clock tomorrow afternoon.

Mrs. CAVINESS spent her entire life in this county with the exception of the last year when she made her home with her son, Norvell CAVINESS at Cedar Rapids. She is survived by the one son and his wife and two children.

Mrs. CAVINESS was the last member of the GREEN family. She was a sister of the late Norvell and Morrison GREEN.
