MRS. ELIZA ALLENDER DIED THIS MORNING

Mrs. Eliza ALLENDER passed away this morning at 3:30 o'clock at the home of her son, Wm. ALLENDER. Deceased was 96 years, 11 months and 5 days old.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home of her son.

MRS. ELIZA ALLENDER

Eliza Jane GREENE (sic - GREEN) was born in Pennsylvania, April 4, 1824, and died at her old home March 10, 1921, aged 96 years, 11 months and ten days.

She was converted when a girl and united with the Methodist church, of which church she remained a faithful member.

She came to Iowa with her parents in 1844, and was married to Samuel ALLENDER, Oct. 18, 1846. The living children are James, of Stockport, Know of Mountain View, Idaho, and William, on the farm northeast of Fairfield. Those who departed this life are Mary Ellen, Knox E. and Annie Ruth. The husband died March 23, 1904.

The funeral was held from the late residende (sic) Friday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Frank Seeds. Burial in the Richwoods cemetery.
