JANA MOFFETT ROACH
Libertyville

Jana MOFFETT ROACH, 62, of Libertyville, Iowa, passed away on Oct. 30, 2019, at Jefferson County Health Center. She was born Feb. 10, 1957, in Fairfield, Iowa, to Robert and Lucille HUGHES MOFFETT. Jana graduated from high school in Titusville, Fla. She married Donald ROACH on March 11, 1978, in Mount Pleasant, Iowa. Together, Don and Jana raised two daughters, Carissa and Alicia.

Jana enjoyed gardening and growing roses. She was an avid birdwatcher, but enjoyed all animals including squirrels and chipmunks. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Don; two daughters, Carissa (J.J.) HUGHELL and Alicia (Chris) BARNES, both of Libertyville, Iowa; six grandsons, Zach BARNES, Cohyn ROACH, Cas BARNES, Keathon HUGHELL, Kaiden HUGHELL and Kian HUGHELL; a sister, Lynnette (Glen) FOSTER of Fayettville, Ark.; a niece, Jennifer FOSTER of Fayettville, Ark.; two aunts, Donna BENTZINGER of Keosauqua, Iowa, and Cheryl (Bill) SMITH of Burlington, Iowa; mother-in-law, Janis ROACH; three brothers-in-law; and one sister-in-law.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Lucille MOFFETT; and father-in-law, Richard ROACH.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua with Pastor Mary Kathryn Hart officiating. Visitation with family present to greet friends will begin at noon Saturday, Nov. 2, at Pedrick Funeral Home and will continue until the time of the service. Burial will follow the service at Fellows Cemetery in Keosauqua (note: in Van Buren Co., IA). Following the service, family and friends are invited to the Libertyville United Methodist Church in Libertyville for refreshments and fellowship.

Memorial contributions in Jana's honor may be made to her family for the education of her grandsons and to her church. Memorials may be left at the funeral home or mailed to 1766 241st St., Libertyville, IA 52567.
