Mrs. GREENE, 80, Taken In Death

Mrs. Gertrude GREENE, 80, member of a pioneer Jefferson County family, died Saturday night in St. Louis, Mo. She had made her home with her daughter in St. Louis since 1961.

Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. Hoyt L. Whitebread. Burial will be in Union Cemetery south of Parsonsville.

Mrs. GREENE was born Oct. 19, 1885 in Jefferson County, the daughter of Michael and Mary HICKENBOTTOM DAMM. She was married to William T. GREENE June 30, 1907. He preceded her in death in 1943.

Mrs. GREENE resided on a farm at Glendale for many years. She was a member of the Parsonsville Methodist Church. One brother is deceased.

Surviving is one daughter, Mrs. George HOLT, St. Louis. Mrs. HOLT is a patient at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis and her husband is bedfast at home. Neither will be able to attend services for Mrs. GREENE.
