GEORGE H. CASE DIES IN KANSAS. Former Prominent Fairfield Lawyer, Justice of Peace and Clerk of Court, died Monday morning at his home in Mankato, Kansas, and funeral services will be held this afternoon at that place. He was a member of the famous Company E of the Second Iowa Infantry, entering as corporal and serving three years, enlisting May 6, 1861, less than a month after Lincoln’s call for 75,000 troops.....In the early ‘70’s moved to Jewell County, Kansas.....
