Geneva V. GAMBACH, 100, of Mount Pleasant, formerly of Fairfield, died Saturday, Aug. 31, 2019, at her residence. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Kimzey Funeral Home, Mount Pleasant, is in charge of the arrangements.

Note: Kimzey Funeral Home's website has a full obituary for Geneva, which gives her birthdate as December 5, 1918, and middle name as Violet. It also notes she was born in Laurens, IA, the daughter of Otto and Anna ALBORN. She married Ralph GAMBACH in August of 1939. She is survived by two children, Ronald (Corrine) GAMBACH and Jill HOLMES; nine grandchildren, Jason GAMBACH, Jeffrey (Elizabeth) GAMBACH, Bradly GAMBACH, Katherine (Bryan) MULLARKEY, Heidi HOLMES, Brandon (Jane) HOLMES, Seth (Theresa) HOLMES, Danika HOLMES (Jeb HART), and Timothy (Ashley) HOLMES; and 15 great-grandchildren. Her parents, husband, two sons (Alan and Bruce), a son-in-law (Daniel HOLMES), a sister (Kathryn RUNNEBURG), two brothers (Albert and Darlow ALBORN), four sisters-in-law, and four brothers-in-law preceded her in death. Interment in Laurens Cemetery, Laurens, IA.
