Cora JERREL
FAIRFIELD -- Cora O. JERREL, 94, formerly of 803 S. Third St. died at 5:45 p.m. May 8, 1997, at Nelson Nursing Home in Fairfield where she had been a resident since September 1994.

She was born Dec. 25, 1902, in Wapello to Charles and Mary Eliza SEPTER FREEMAN. She married Marshall Clifford JERREL Jan. 29, 1920, in Fairfield; he died Feb. 4, 1989.

She was a resident of Jefferson County most of her life and attended the Four Square Church. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by three daughters, Betty HINKLE of Birmingham and Carol LEATHERS and Darlene GRIEGER, both of Mesa, Ariz.; two foster sons, Donald and Duane KELLER, both of Arizona; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The service will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield.

Open visitation will begin Monday morning. Family will be present at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m.

Memorials may be made to Nelson Nursing Home Activity Fund.
