OBITUARY. Mary Martha BEATTY was born in Mifflin County, Penn., August 9th 1829, and departed this life November 10th 1902. She was married May 24, 1853, to William C. CUMMINGS, and has made her home in Jefferson County ever since. The husband and three of her five children survive her. Mrs. CUMMINGS came to Iowa with her parents in 1845 and was among the oldest of our pioneers. She and her husband united with the First Presbyterian church of Fairfield in the early days.....Services were conducted at the home Tuesday, Rev. Alexander Corkey officiating. The choir of the Salina church rendered the music.....
