FRANCIS M. HARPER DIED THIS MORNING.

Francis M. HARPER, aged 70 years died at the county home this morning about six-thirty o'clock after an illness of some time. The remains were brought to the Frazey Undertaking establishment where the funeral services were held this afternoon at 4:30 o'clock and the remains were laid to rest in the City Cemetery (sic - Evergreen Cemetery).

Mr. HARPER was a former resident of Cedar Township and was well known in that vicinity. He was without near relatives and nearly thirty-four years of his life had been passed in the county home. He will be remembered by a number of the older residents of Jefferson county.
