Kathalene Ellen WILLIAMS, 69, of Fairfield, formerly of Ottumwa died at 7:19 p.m. February 16, 2019 at Hospice House in Ottumwa (note: in Wapello Co., IA).

She was born March 10, 1949 in Ottumwa to John and Clara MAILAN DOOLEY.

Growing up in Ottumwa, she owned and operated Kathalene's clothing store. For over the past 15 years she has lived in Fairfield.

Surviving is a son, Scott CAMPBELL of Stonington, IL; a daughter, Nicole McELROY of Fairfield; two granddaughters, Alexis McELROY and Morgen FRANCIS; three great grandchildren; siblings, Shirley NASH of Ottumwa, Michael (Sharon) DOOLEY of Knoxville, TN, Jeff, Brian, Tim, Becky and Charlene HART.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Sharon DOOLEY; a brother, Shawn HART; and a brother-in-law, John NASH Jr.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Reece Funeral Home with Doug McAntire officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery (note: in Ottumwa, IA).

Visitation will open after 9 a.m. Wednesday with the family present one hour prior to the service to greet friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice serving Davis and Wapello Counties or to the family.
