A much-loved wife, mother, and grandmother, sister, niece, cousin and friend Norma Jean (GREEN) HARVEY, 74, of Fairfield, Iowa, passed away peacefully at the Iowa University of Iowa Hospital with her family present (note: on January 14, 2019, in Iowa City, Johnson Co., IA).

Visitation will be held 6-8pm, Thursday, January 17th at Behner Funeral Home, Fairfield, IA.

Celebration of Life service will be 1 pm, Friday, January 18th with Pastor Danny Cary and Pastor Dick Larson officiating. Burial of cremains will be at a later date.

A memorial has been established. Cards and memorials may be mailed to 1883 Hemlock avenue, Fairfield, Iowa 52556.

She was born August 25, 1944, Sigourney, IA to Orville GREEN and Mary Elizabeth (GULOSH) SMITH. She graduated from What Cheer, IA. Norma married Gary L. HARVEY May 29, 1971, in Fairfield, IA.

Norma loved cooking, gardening, sewing, reading, The Iowa Hawkeyes, Chicago Cubs and was extremely proud of her family. She worked at Gamrath & Doyle Insurance for 27 years as receptionist.

Left to share her memories are her loving husband of 47 years, Gary HARVEY of Fairfield; daughter, Kristine CLARK of Mason City; son, David (Kerri) HARVEY of Urbandale; Grandchildren, Dr. Lindsey UPTON, Tierney SIEVERS, Colton SIEVERS; Nicholas and Alexis CLARK; Kassie (Dylan) LAUX, Chase (Katie) HARVEY, Zoie HARVEY, and Great-Granddaughter Scarlett Ellen LAUX. Amber (John) WILD, Corbin, Carson, Cailey; Amanda HEMM; Sister Shirley (Jerry) TREMMEL of Searsboro, IA; Aunt Jane (Dick) LARSON, West Des Moines, IA; Sister in-law, Sandy (Roger) EARHARDT, Fairfield, IA; sister in-law Judy HARVEY, The Villages, FL; brother and sister in-law, Garry (Donna) SIEVERS, Richland and Royce (Kathy) HUFF, Keosauqua; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents; in-laws, Henry and Nellie HARVEY; son, Troy SIEVERS; Grandson, Phillip Alan CLARK; Sister, Susie PROVIN; Brother in-law, John HARVEY; and Larry SIEVERS.
