Lawrence R. ZIELINSKI

BRIGHTON -- Lawrence R. ZIELINSKI, 88, of Brighton, died Tuesday, Dec. 27, 1994, at Washington County Hospital in Washington, Iowa.

The service tentatively is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in East Pleasant Plain. Burial will be in Polishville Cemetery near Brighton (sic - St. Mary Catholic Cemetery at Polishville). Prayers for a Christian wake will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Gould Funeral Home in Brighton. A memorial has been established.

ZIELINSKI was born Aug. 6, 1906, in Brighton, the son of John and Agnes GLUCH ZIELINSKI. He graduated from Brighton High School and taught country school for a short time. He lived most of his life in the Brighton area and worked for many years at the Rubio Savings Bank of Brighton, retiring in 1968. He never married. He was a former city clerk in Brighton and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.
