A. SHELANGOSKI Dies Suddenly

BRIGHTON -- Alexander F. (sic - S.) SHELANGOSKI, 70, Jefferson County farmer, died suddenly Thursday after suffering an apparent heart attack.

SHELANGOSKI's body was found in a pasture after he failed to return to the house at noon. The farm is located in Walnut Township northwest of Germanville.

Services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, East Pleasant Plain, in charge of the Rev. Francis Bass. Burial will be in Polishville Cemetery (sic - St. Mary Cemetery at Polishville). The Rosary will be recited tonight at 8:30 at the Gould Funeral Home in Brighton.

SHELANGOSKI was born Feb. 26, 1898, in Walnut Township, the son of Anthony and Constance GLUCH SHELANGOSKI. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of St. Joseph Church.

SHELANGOSKI was a bachelor. Surviving are the following brothers and sisters: Steven, Fairfield; Bernard, Mount Pleasant; Vincent, East Pleasant Plain; Mrs. Paul HULL and Mrs. Sophia HOBBS, both of Ottumwa; and Agnes and Celesta SHELANGOSKI, with whom he made his home. A half-brother, Peter SHELANGOSKI, also survives.

Three brothers are deceased.
