B. ZIHLMAN dies at 84

Bertha Caroline ZIHLMAN, 84, native of Jefferson County, died Sunday at Parkview Home in Wayland (note: in Henry Co., IA).

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Catholic Church with Father Karl Holtkamp officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery at East Pleasant Plain.

Prayers for a Christian Wake will be held tonight at 7:30 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home.

Bertha Caroline ZIHLMAN was born Feb. 26, 1894, in Jefferson County. She was the daughter of Andrew and Caroline STADELMANN ZIHLMAN.

Bertha ZIHLMAN spent most of her life in the Fairfield and Brighton Communities and was a member of the Catholic Church.

She is survived by one sister, Emma ROTH, Wayland. She was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters.
