OBITUARY

MRS. LUCAS ZAHARRIS

Mrs. Sophia ZAHARRIS passed away at her home in East Pleasant Plain, Monday, March 9, following an illness of four months. Funeral services were held Thursday, March 12, at the St. Joseph's Catholic church at East Pleasant Plain in charge of Father H. Sandbuehler. Burial took place in the cemetery nearby.

Mrs. ZAHARRIS was formerly Miss Sophia GULLUCH (sic - GLUCH). She was born April 15, 1864 and September 1889 she was united in marriage to Lucas ZAHARRIS. Since their marriage they have made their home in the East Pleasant Plain community. Besides her husband she leaves ten children: Mrs. S. J. SUPALLA., Mrs. George PATRICK, Mrs. J. E. MALLOY, John, Engus and Nick of Mitchell, South Dak.; Joe of Fairfield; Mrs. Frank KASKA of East Pleasant Plain and Adam and Sophia at home. She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. John ZELINSKI of Brighton and Mrs. Anthony SHELANGOUSKI of East Pleasant Plain.
