MELINSKI Rites Set

Andrew A. MELINSKI, 77, who had lived at 412 N. Court, died at 2:55 a.m. Friday at Sunrise Terrace in Winfield (note: in Henry Co., IA). He had been seriously ill the last five weeks.

MELINSKI was born March 2, 1899 at Pleasant Plain, the son of Andrew and Josephine BROISKA MELINSKI. Except for the last four years spent in Fairfield, the deceased had farmed near Pleasant Plain. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.

Surviving are two brothers, Leo and John MELINSKI, both of Fairfield. Three sisters preceded him in death.

Services will be Monday, 10 a.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Church in E. Pleasant Plain with Father Louis Leonhardt and Father Karl Holtkamp officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. A Christian Wake will be held Sunday, 7:30 p.m., at Behner Funeral Home.
