DEATH OF MRS. R. M. MOYER -- Old resident of the county, at 5 o'clock Monday evening. Maiden name Elizabeth EIKENBERG, born Oct. 18, 1828, Butler County, Ohio. When nine years old came with her parents to Des Moines Co. this state, continued to live there until married May 23, 1848, to R. M. MOYER. Made their home in Penn township, this county, for over 40 years. M.E. Church. Seven children, three dead. Living: F. M. MOYER of Black Hawk township, C. M. MOYER of York, Nebr.; Mrs. W. D. SHIRK of this township, and Mrs. Frank LIGHT of this city. Remains laid to rest forever in Mr. MOYER's beautiful lot in the Evergreen cemetery.
