BRIGHTON -- Mrs. Theresa DRISH, 86, Brighton, died Friday at the rest Haven Nursing Home in Mount Pleasant (note: in Henry Co., IA).
Services will be held Monday at 9 a.m. at St. Joseph Church in East Pleasant Plain in charge of the Rev. Francis Bass. Burial will be in the cemetery there. The Rosary will be recited Sunday at 7:30 p.m. at the Gould Funeral Home.
Mrs. DRISH was born May 23, 1882, at Fairbanks, Iowa, the daughter of Michael and Magdalene POLUS. She was married to George DRISH Jan. 29, 1900. He preceded her in death in 1935.
Surviving are the following children: Charles DRISH, Brighton; Hubert DRISH, Newark, N.J.; William DRISH, Pleasant Plain; Mrs. Marie KESSEL, Fairfield; Mrs. Agnes KURTZ and Mrs. Frances ROBERTS, Brighton; Mrs. Viola GEVOCK, Williamsburg; Mrs. Evelyn HUGHES, Dayton, Ohio; and Mrs. Anna STINSON, Pinellas, Fla.
Also surviving are 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and two brothers: I. A. POLUS, Mitchell, S. D., and Tom POLUS, Fairfield.
