Rites Friday for Nettie CHUCK

BRIGHTON -- Nettie CHUCK, 84, died Tuesday night in the Washington County Hospital after a brief illness.

She was born July 27, 1902, in Chicago, the daughter of John and Anna MICHALEK MOSINSKI. She was married to Frank A. CHUCK at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church in Polishville Nov. 12, 1918. He died Dec. 26, 1964.

Mrs. CHUCK had worked many years as cook in the Brighton school. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church at East Pleasant Plain, the Altar Rosary Society, Willing Workers Club and was a charter member of the Polishville Cemetery Association.

Survivors include three sons, Edward of Mason City, Norbert of Brighton and Frank Jr. of Houston, Texas; two daughters, Teresa MOTTET of rural Richland and Kathryn DICKINSON of rural Brighton; and 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, John; an infant daughter, Rosalie; and one sister and four brothers.

Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church by the Rev. Joseph Rogers. The rosary will be at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Gould Funeral Home in Brighton.

A memorial has been established to the Polishville Cemetery Association.
