Kimberly CAMPBELL, 45, of Washington, died Thursday evening at McCreedy Home in Washington (note: in Washington Co., IA). Arrangements are pending at Gould Funeral Home in Brighton.

Note: The above brief obituary is all that has appeared in "The Fairfield Ledger" from the date of publication to August 16, 2018. In the meantime, "The Hawk Eye Newspaper" ran a more complete obituary which notes that Kimberly Sue CAMPBELL was born February 3, 1973, the daughter of Walter Dean and Joyce Deann SIMPSON CAMPBELL. She graduated high school in 1991, married Cecil McNEAL and they later divorced. Sons Terrance CAMPBELL, Donnie DAY and Jonte DAY survive her, as does her father Walter (Nancy MATTOCKS) CAMPBELL, sister Kathy (Duane) WAGAMON and brother Jeremy (Jamie) CAMPBELL, and grandmother Lucille CAMPBELL, in addition to many other extended family members. Her mother, Joyce, and an infant niece, Hannah, preceded her in death. Services were held July 19, 2018, and burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery in Brighton, IA (note: in Washington Co., IA).
