DEATH CLAIMS J. A. ROSEQUIST

Death came this morning to John Albert ROSEQUIST, well know (sic) Jefferson county farmer who had lived his entire life in the Salina community.

He passed away at 10:30 a.m. at the Jefferson county hospital where he had been a patient since last Thursday. He had been in failing health the past two years and seriously ill the past week.

Last rites will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Hoskins funeral home with Rev. Richard W. Engstrom in charge. Burial will be in the Salina cemetery.

John Albert ROSEQUIST, 78, was born September 2, 1872, in Lockridge township, the son of the late John and Christina HOLLANDER ROSEQUIST. He was united in marriage on March 15, 1917, to Hannah Elizabeth OLSON, who survives. The wedding took place in Ottumwa.

ROSEQUIST spent his entire life in the community where he was born. He was a member of the Clara Lutheran church at Salina.

Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Chris SANDELL, Salina; a sister, Mrs. John ANDERSON, Salina; and a brother, Ed, who made his home with the John ROSEQUIST family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
