RANDY JAY THOMAS
Houston, TX

Randy Jay THOMAS, 53, of Houston, TX, passed away at 1:00 a.m. on Friday, April 6, 2018, at Harbor House Hospice in Houston, TX from complications from Traumatic Brain Injury, ongoing seizures, and other medical issues sustained in an accident on his job in January 2000.

Randy was born January 15, 1965 in Fairfield, IA. He graduated from Fairfield High School in May 1983. He moved with his family to Houston, TX in June 1983. Randy worked installing medical equipment, particularly CT scan, MRI, and X-ray machines until his accident.

He is survived by his parents, Ronald J. and Mary C. THOMAS, of Webster, TX; two sisters, JoLynne GIBSON (Edward) of Davenport, IA and Shannon NORDQUIST (Gregory) of Houston, TX; two brothers, Jess ANDERSON (Elizabeth) of Rose Hill Acres, TX and Cory THOMAS (Samantha) of League City, TX; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

On July 18, 1992, Randy married Cheryl Elizabeth HARWELL. Cheryl preceded Randy in death on May 22, 2009.

Graveside memorial services will be 12:30 p.m. Saturday, June 9, 2018 at the Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield, IA. Memorial contributions are welcome and should be mailed to Evergreen Cemetery Association, 510 E. Stone, Fairfield, IA 52556.

Randy is with God and his wife, Cheryl, and he is at peace!
