Sr. Jane Frances, SSpS (Frances Cecilia MILLANE)
April 23, 1930 - June 6, 2018

Sr. Jane was an inspiration for her family and left a lasting legacy with the thousands of students she taught in the Papua New Guinea education system

1948 Fairfield High School Graduate

1950 Entered Sisters Servants of the Holy Spirit

1962 Arrived in Papua New Guinea for her mission assignment

1962 - 1969 Trained teachers in Alexishaven and Madang

1969 - 1972 Taught English as a second language at the University in Port Moresby

1972 Became Principal of Malala Catholic Secondary School and spent the rest of her years ministering at Malala

2017 Returned to the Holy Spirit Missionary Sisters USA, Chicago

Sr. Jane was the daughter of John and Cecilia (ARNDT) MILLANE. Sister to Joe MILLANE, Leo MILLANE, John (Bud) MILLANE (her twin), Ed MILLANE, Sr. Pacelli MILLANE, Kathryn GREINER, Rita HAMMES, and Jim MILLANE. Sr. Jane was in her 89th year of life and her 65th year of religious profession when she passed into eternal life.
