Chino Valley, AZGregory Joseph KURTZ age 76, of Chino Valley, Arizona passed away Saturday, June 2nd, 2018 at home, surrounded by family.
He was born December 1st, 1941 in Germanville, Iowa, the son of Leon and Mary (QUINN) KURTZ. He married Rhonda R. HUFFMAN on January 9th, 1971 in Fairfield, Iowa. They had one daughter, Kristin L. KURTZ. Gregory was well known in the Fairfield area for his expertise in flooring installation.
He was also a member of the Fairfield Lion's Club (sic). He and his wife moved to Arizona in 1992. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing and exploring new areas. He was a collector of antiques.
Gregory is survived by his wife, Rhonda KURTZ of Chino Valley, Arizona, his daughter, Kristin KURTZ of Chandler, Arizona and his granddaughter, Kameron KURTZ of Chandler, Arizona. He is also survived by sisters Pat RANDALL, Jeri POWERS and brother James KURTZ of Iowa and brother Dan KURTZ of Missouri.
Heritage Funeral Home in Chino Valley assisted the family with arrangements. No services are planned at this time. Cards and memorials can be sent to 2750 N. Cherokee Dr. Chino Valley, AZ 86323.
