Lillian Adele KRAUS was born December 1, 1921 in Brooklyn, N.Y. As a student she excelled in academics, sports and drama. She attended Parker Collegiate Institute, Wheaton College and Columbia University. She married Bob BUSCH in 1944, John SAEMANN in 1983, and Bill DARR in 1992. Lillian loved people and life. Her kindness, vitality and exuberance touched peoples' hearts, and she had friends of all ages all over the world.

She devoted much of her life to ending injustice, promoting peace, and supporting the spread of Transcendental Meditation. Lillian loved playing Scrabble and hosting her Friday night poker game, playing as recently as a week before passing. Lillian's mind was sharp and witty until the end. Her spirit departed from her body at the age of 96.

She was succeeded by 3 of her 4 children, Judy RAYMOND, Chris BUSCH and Deborah BUSCH. A son, Robbie BUSCH, passed away in 1986. She created a beautifully written memoir of her life, "Memoirs of a 90-Year Old Hippie: Romance, Celebrities, Travel, Comedy & Tragedy." There will be a celebration of her life Saturday, April 28th, 2:00 at Phoenix Rising, 207 W. Burlington
