HE WAS AN OLD CITIZEN OF FAIRFIELD.....Death of J. HAMILTON BEATTY at Washington, D.C. the 3d inst. His remains were interred in that city the 5th. He went to Washington early in the first LINCOLN administration to accept a clerkship in the treasury department.....MRS. BEATTY and three sons yet reside in Washington. MR. BEATTY was about 80 years of age.
