Mrs. PARSONS Services Today

Last rites for Mrs. Henrietta PARSONS, 90, were conducted by the Rev. Kermit Black at 1:30 p.m. today at the Raymond Funeral Home. Burial was in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.

Mrs. PARSONS died Saturday morning at the Jefferson County Hospital. She had been in failing health for the past three and a half years, making her home since that time with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. George BRADFIELD of Packwood.

Mrs. PARSONS was born Jan. 16, 1882, near Pittsburgh, Pa., the daughter of Henry and Henrietta UHR MOLLENAUER. She was reared in Pennsylvania, graduating from Grove City College. She also taught school in Pennsylvania for 10 years.

She was married to Harry R. PARSONS May 8, 1915 at Cannonsburg, Pa. At that time they moved to the PARSONS farm five miles east of Fairfield. Mrs. PARSONS made her home there until her health failed.

Mrs. PARSONS was a member of the Presbyterian Church and the Gold Star Mothers organization. Her husband died Nov. 4, 1951. She was also preceded in death by one son, Thomas, who lost his life in World War II, two sisters and five brothers.

Surviving are one son, Robert, Madisonville, Ky.; one daughter, Mrs. Isobel (sic) BRADFIELD, Packwood; seven grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

Other survivors are four sisters: Mrs. Adeline WINNER, Sandy Lake, Pa.; Mrs. James B. FULTON, Prosperity, Pa.; Mrs. Gertrude ALLISON, Munhall, Pa.; and Mrs. Robert F. LITTLE, Washington, Pa.
