DONNA JEAN COOP

It is with great sadness that the family of Donna Jean COOP announces her passing on January 10, 2018, after a brief illness, at the age of 81 years. Donna will be lovingly remembered by her children Leigh Ann (Peter Feeley), John, Barbara DAVIS (Dan), and James (Carolyn).

She will also be fondly remembered by her grandson Alexander James "AJ" COOP. She was predeceased by her husband, Roger Lee; son, David Lee; father, Dale Alan DAVISON; and mother Edith Fay DAVISON (KELLEY).

Donna was a graduate of Fairfield High School and a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Parsons College in 1958. She was briefly a high school English teacher after college. A long-time Administrative Assistant to the Fairfield Parks and Recreation Department Director, Donna retired from the department after 27 years in 1998.

A memorial gathering for Donna will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018, at 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. at the Elks Lodge #1192, 51-1/2 S. Main Street, Fairfield, Iowa. A private interment will be held at a later date. Those who so desire may make memorial donations to Friends of Fairfield Public Library, c/o Fairfield Public Library, 104 W. Adams Street, Fairfield, IA 52556.
