SWANSON Rites To Be At Lockridge

LOCKRIDGE, Ia. -- Mrs. Anna SWANSON, well known resident of the Lockridge community, passed away Wednesday night at her home in Lockridge. Her death came at 11:05 p.m. after she had been in failing health the past year and seriously ill the past several months.

Last rites will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Lockridge Baptist church with the Rev. Don L. DeMonbrun in charge. Burial will be in the Lockridge cemetery. The body is at the Weston Behner funeral home in Fairfield.

Mrs. Anna SWANSON, 64, was born Jan. 8, 1891, at Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of the late Andrew and Anna Cecelia PETERSON THOMPSON (sic).

A member of the Lockridge Baptist church, she was united in marriage to Charles O. SWANSON who preceded her in death.

Mrs. SWANSON is survived by three children: Mrs. Blanche L. ANDERSON, Oak Park, Ill.; Raymond C. SWANSON, Lockridge, and Vera Mae SWANSON, Lockridge; and four grandchildren.

The following brothers and sisters also survive: Mrs. Norma DAUB, Mrs. Myrtle PEQUINOT and Mrs. Marie HALL, all of Fairfield; George THOMSON, Libertyville; Mrs. Helen HOWELL, Glasgow; Jacob THOMSON, Blakesburg; Mrs. Lottie SCHWARTZ, Winfield; Thomas THOMSON, Fairfield; Mrs. Jessie LEE, Eldon, and Bert THOMSON, Pitt, Minn.
