JOHN DUBOIS RITES TUESDAY

John Henry DUBOIS, 59, lifelong Jefferson county resident, died at his home 2½ miles northwest of Fairfield, yesterday morning at 8:15 a.m. on the farm adjacent to his farm home. He had been in failing health the past several years and seriously ill nine months.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. at the Hoskins Funeral Home, with Rev. S. P. Williamson officiating. Burial in Evergreen cemetery.

Mr. DuBIOS was born April 14, 1886 in Jefferson county, the son of Polk and Mary Ann BLOUGH DuBOIS. He was married to Bernice A. HUMPHREY (sic - HUMPHREYS) February 15, 1911 who survives. He was a member of the Christian church in Fairfield. He had been residing with his sister, Mrs. Ross ANDERSON, after returning from a hospital in Rochester, until recently when he returned to his farm home a few weeks ago where he passed away.

Surviving besides his wife and a sister, Mrs. ANDERSON of Fairfield, is one son, Donald of Chicago.
