DEATH OF ABRAHAM NEISWANGER, Sunday, Dec. 27, at the home of his son, Samuel Neiswanger, with whom he had lived since his wife’s death.....Evergreen Cemetery. Born at St. Clairsville, Ohio, Mar. 15, 1808, and there in 1834 was married to Miss Sarah Grove. Three children, two sons and a daughter, were born to them, of whom the daughter died in St. Clairsville when she was but eight years old. He moved to Fairfield in 1857 and since that time this has been his home. Mrs. Neiswanger died 12 years ago and so the two sons, Samuel of this county, and L. K. Neiswanger of San Francisco, are left alone as immediate representatives of the family.

This data has been transcribed for genealogical purposes; I am not related to the subject.

Admin. note: Abraham is buried in the Old Fairfield City Cemetery, not in Evergreen. The two cemeteries are adjacent to one another and there is no fence to separate them. At times they were considered to be one cemetery and their names used interchangably but they are in fact two separate entities. -JS
