Death of Smith POLLOCK

Smith POLLOCK, an old resident of Jefferson county, died at his home, near Libertyville, on Thursday last, after an illness of considerable duration. Mr. POLLOCK was about sixty-five years of age, and had reared a family of several children in this county, three of whom, two sons and one daughter, and his wife still survive him. He had been in ill health for some years, and his death was not unexpected. He was a man who was generally respected, and for several years was steward of the county poor farm. His funeral occurred on Friday, from his home, and the remains were interred near Libertyville.
