DEATH OF A COLORED CITIZEN. ROBERT WINN died in our city last Sunday…MR. WINN was born in slavery in Tazewell County, Va., Dec. 24, 1834. He was taken to Macon County, Mo., when three years old and resided there until 1863, when he enlisted in the Union army, and fought and gained his freedom. He served until the close of the war. He has resided in Fairfield for several years. His funeral took place Monday, and his remains were followed to the grave by sympathizing friends.
