WILLIAM GIFT, who was resident of this county from 1860 to 1865, died very suddenly at his home near Ottumwa Wednesday. He was a brother of the late CHARLES GIFT of this city, was 76 years of age and a farmer. MR. GIFT was a member of Co. G, 30th Iowa Infantry, enlisting in this county.
