Evelyn Mary Lyon, 84, of Parkview Care Center, died at 6:15 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 13, 2005, at the center.

The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Stephen Page officiating. Burial will be in Winchester Cemetery between Birmingham and Stockport.

Family visitation will be held from 2-3:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

The rosary will be recited at the funeral home at 3:30 p.m. Sunday by the Altar & Rosary Society.

Mrs. Lyon was born March 7, 1920, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of Harry Ford and Ida Caroline Capouch Asire. She married Gale Lyon in 1946.

She was a homemaker.

She was a parishioner of St. Mary Catholic Church and belonged to the Altar & Rosary Society.

Survivors include her husband of Fairfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Donald Asire.
