Mary RICHARDSON

Mary Pearl RICHARDSON, 96, of Sigourney and formerly of Packwood, died Monday, May 29, 2017, at the Manor House in Sigourney (note: in Keokuk Co., IA).

The funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Fremont Funeral Chapel in Fremont, with the Rev. Bill Hornback officiating. Burial will be in Packwood Cemetery in Packwood.

Visitation will be 10a.m. until the service Saturday at the funeral chapel.

Memorials can be made to the family and will be distributed to a charity to be decided on by the family.

Mrs. RICHARDSON was born March 5, 1921, in Linby to Alonzo and Maggie LINDER BROWN. She married Harley Earl RICHARDSON June 1, 1941, in Lancaster, Missouri.

She graduated from Packwood High School.

Following marriage, Mrs. RICHARDSON worked at Dickey's Prairie Home Restaurant for 41 years.

She was a member of the Linby Baptist Church and Zephyr Club of Linby.

Survivors include: sister Margaret McQUEEN of San Diego, California.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; two siblings in infancy; sister Florence BOULGER; and brothers Harold, William, James, Chester and Thomas BROWN; and stepson: Rich RICHARDSON.
