Marilyn Louise ESTES

Marilyn Louise ESTES, 84, of Fairfield, died Sunday, March 12, 2017, at SunnyBrook Living Care Center.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Behner Funeral Home, with words of comfort by Marsha Laux. Burial of cremains will be at Rock Creek Cemetery (note: in Ollie, Keokuk Co., IA).

Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. ESTES was born Aug. 13, 1932, to Seth Wesley and Regetta SMITHHART HART. She married Frankie "Ray" ESTES April 23, 1954, in Kahoka, Missouri. He died April 8, 2010.

She graduated from Richland High School and lived most of her adult life in Burlington.

She was a member of Eastern Star, Ollie.

Her hobbies and interests were reading, gardening, nurturing flowers, and collecting antiques. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include: sister, Mary Lou LAUX of Fairfield.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
