Michael Ray SMALLWOOD

Michael Ray SMALLWOOD, 60, of Fairfield, died Friday, Jan. 20, 2017, at his home.

No funeral is scheduled. Interment of cremains will be at a later date at South Cemetery in Bloomfield (note: in Davis Co., IA).

Memorials can be directed to Jackson Point in Fairfield and mailed to Carla FLETCHER, 505 South D St., Oskalosa 52577.

Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield is assisting with arrangements.

Mr. SMALLWOOD was born Sept. 11, 1956, in Iowa City, the son of Carl and Marjorie COOK SMALLWOOD.

He grew up in Bloomfield and attended Davis County Schools. He had lived in Bloomfield and Ottumwa until moving to Fairfield in 1984.

Mr. SMALLWOOD worked at Tenco in Bloomfield, Ottumwa and Fairfield.

Survivors include: one brother, Joe Dean SMALLWOOD of Oskaloosa; and two sisters, Carla FLETCHER and Charlotte WINKLEMAN, both of Oskaloosa.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
