Robert Floyd KELLER

Robert Floyd KELLER, 85, of rural Stockport, died at 9:48 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 29, 2016, at home.

In accordance with his wishes, the body has been cremated. A memorial service will be ay (sic - at) 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Bonaparte Baptist Church, with the Rev. Mark Caston officiating. Burial of cremains will be at a later date in Spencer Cemetery in Stockport (note: in Van Buren Co., IA).

Visitation will open at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with family present from 6-8 p.m.

Memorials to Bonaparte Baptist Church or HCI Hospice can be left at the funeral home, church or mailed to the family at 15934 Peach Ave., Stockport 52651.

Mr. KELLER was born July 11, 1931, in Stockport, the son of Floyd R. and Aura L BRADFIELD KELLER. He married Lois E. NIEDERHUTH Dec. 5, 1954, in Stockport.

Mr. KELLER grew up in Van Buren County and graduated from Stockport High School in 1949.

He was a farmer and stockman. He served in the National Guard in Fairfield for 10 years.

He was a member of Bonaparte Baptist Church and a 50-year member of Workman Lodge No. 634 A.F. & A.M. in Stockport.

Mr. KELLER enjoyed all outdoor activities, including hunting, fishing and gardening.

Survivors include: his wife; one son, Robert Alan KELLER with LeaAnn of Amissville, Virginia; two daughters, Deanna Sue TEMPLE with Mark of Columbia, Missouri, and Laurie Lynn GLOVER with Kenneth of Ottumwa; one brother, Richard KELLER of Fairfield; one sister, Roberta DONALD of Fairfield; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
