William W. PRINTY Jr.

William W. PRINTY Jr., 59, of Bentonsport, died at 7:50 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10, 2016, at home.

In accordance with his wishes, the body has been cremated. A graveside service and burial of cremains will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Kahoka Cemetery in Kahoka, Missouri, with Larry Shipley officiating.

Memorials to the family can be taken to the cemetery or mailed to the family at 21909 Marion St., Keosauqua 52565.

Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua is handling the cremation.

Mr. PRINTY was born Jan. 13, 1957, in Keokuk, the son of William W. Sr. and JoAnn L. SACKMAN PRINTY.

He grew up in California and Illinois and graduated from Hamilton High School in Illinois.

Mr. PRINTY worked as a tool and die maker at Hawkeye Steel in Houghton.

He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, arrowhead hunting, auto mechanics, gardening and spending time with family.

Survivors include: his father, William PRINTY and wife Betty of Bentonsport; his mother, JoAnn PRINTY of Keokuk; three daughters, Ivy PLENGE with Sam of Keokuk, Beth PRINTY with Tyler Walker of Donnellson, and Erin LAND with Ryan of Keokuk; one stepbrother; three stepsisters; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by: one brother, Mitch PRINTY.
